And with just over a week to go, Synthax Audio UK have very kindly donated a top prize for one lucky visitor.

SoundPro’18 will run from 11am to 5pm on Saturday October 6th 2018.

“And, like last year, Peter ‘Vlad’ Laugalis will be swinging his Fisher boom pole, in a slightly threatening way, around the hall…” trembled the organiser, Dave Robinson.

Hosted by the publisher of Resolution magazine and the IPS (Institute of Professional Sound) and sponsored by Terry Tew Audio & Visual Hire, SoundPro’18 is an informal exhibition with manufacturers, distributors, dealers and service providers.

As in 2017, there will be unmissable afternoon sessions from:

  • Sound Supervision – Dennis Weinreich dissects the audio workflow in film production
  • Can We Fix It? Yes We Can! – tips and tricks for location recording from Reinhardt’s Rodney Wilkins

And to top it all, the ‘Tweet/Twit of the Day’ quiz will run in the last hour. It’s your opportunity to win a FANTASTIC RME Babyface Pro: a 24-channel 192kHz bus-powered professional USB 2.0  audio interface, worth over 600 quid! Those lovely people at Synthax Audio UK have given us this massive opportunity to get a Babyface… IN YOUR FACE.

According to Synthax : “The Babyface Pro embodies the RME philosophy in a compact, mobile design – crystal-clear A-D/D-A conversion, unlimited routing with TotalMix FX, and rock-solid reliability.”

“Never has there been a better opportunity to learn about location recording, positioning, capture, mixing, and more. All our exhibitors – leading names in the field – are keen to share their knowledge.
